A. E. Stallings had the honor of serving on the Poetry at Callanwolde committee in Atlanta with Turner Cassity for a number of years in the 90s. Her most recent collection, Hapax [1], received the 2008 Poets' Prize. Her verse translation of Lucretius, The Nature of Things [2], is out from Penguin Classics. She lives with her husband, John Psaropoulos, and their children, Jason and new baby Atalanta, in Athens, Greece. She directs and teaches a three-week poetry seminar in the summers on the island of Spetses for the Athens Centre.
