Barbara Lydecker Crane was a finalist for the Rattle Poetry Prize in 2017 and 2019. She has won two Laureate’s Choice awards in the Maria Faust Sonnet Contest and First Prize in the 2010 Helen Schaible Sonnet Contest. She has published three chapbooks: Zero Gravitas (White Violet Press, 2012), Alphabetricks (Daffydowndilly Press, 2013),and BackWords Logic (Local Gems Press, 2017). Her poems have appeared in Angle, Atlanta Review, First Things, Light, Lighten Up Online, Measure, Think, Valparaiso Poetry Review, and Writer’s Almanac, among many others.
