Estill Pollock was born in Kentucky. His early work was published in journals as diverse as Harvard Advocate, Poetry,and Upstairs at Duroc (Paris). His publications include the book cycles, Blackwater Quartet (Kittiwake Editions, 2005) and Relic Environments Trilogy (Cinnamon Press, 2011). Salt Ensign, his first book of poems in ten years and his first collection to be published in the United States, is scheduled for publication in 2021. Other journal publications of note include Orbis and Poetry Review (London). Following earlier journeys there in the 1970s, he emigrated to England, where he has lived for forty years.
