This podcast is what I'd call a selected reading of Tim Murphy books, read by the author himself. It's in four parts, but I've combined them into one continuous audio file. It comprises all six of his books of poetry. We'll begin with his first, The Deed of Gift, published by Story Line in 1998. He's recorded about forty minutes from each of the six volumes. It's been a while since I received them from Tim, so, I'm glad I've been able to finally process and post them.

This is a collection of some of the finest writing out there, and professionally recorded. Tim's fine reading adds to the overall experience.

While you're here, I'd like to point out that Tim's new double-volume book, Mortal Stakes and Faint Thunder, has just been released in August, 2011, by The Fort Mandan Foundation's Dakota Institute Press. Tim tells me that they'll likely be publishing many Spherians west of the Mississippi in the future.
