Default Poem for children

My first poem for children, My Life as a Worm, is up at Dirigible. It was up for critique here.

https://dirigibleballoon.org/

And thanks to our Jayne who encouraged the rewrite in ballad stanzas.

Yay! That's excellent news. Congratulations Ralph!

I remember the poem - here's a direct link to the published poem - and it's good to read that it's out there.

(Jayne is, of course, legendary)

Hi Ralph,
That's fantastic news, and I'm very happy to have made a helpful suggestion. (That is, after all, our raison d'être! )

...And thank you, dear Sarah-Jane, for the lovely compliment.

Jayne

Congrats, Ralph. I remember the poem also. After a bit of work (those must be very smart kids, to use that web site, or possibly I'm just stupider than today's average eight-year old) I found a link to the poem, and was all set to post it when I realized that Sara-Jane had beaten me to it.

Sarah-Jane, Carl, Jayne and Michael, thanks for taking a look!

On the opening page, there’s a space for a Word that should locate a poem including it, in this instance “worm” works. Parents of some children may lend a hand.

I just heard one of Martin's sirius pups bow-wowing from his balloon.

Congrats, Ralph. I recall that vermiformish verse of yours from the workshop. My Sirius pupper was about to step on the pool little burrowing annelid, but I pulled on his leash just in time.
