Default Lavender Review

My poem Blood On The Steps has been published in the most recent Lavender Review.

I guess that makes me a closet lesbian.

Well, your secret is now out.

Congratulations. I remember the poem and I'm not surprised Mary wanted to publish it.

I don't know about the "closet" part. This is you getting outed. Congrats, Nemo! Excellent news. Great poem. I remember reading it here.

Wow. That is a beautiful, scary, dark fairy-tale-of-a-poem.

I love how (in my reading) it uses form to create kind of overlapping layers of history, like a journey that is simultaneously past and present & how it reads like an urban Hansel and Gretel whilst reading 'real'.

Love 'clomp and babble' too and the 'drops tattooed'.

And Congratulations!

Sarah-Jane

Congrats Nemo. I remember this haunting poem well.
From a fellow closet, or perhaps honorary, lesbian.
