I agree that lots of Sphere poems should have finished up top. Though two of us (I consider Chris one of us, though he doesn't post) out of seven isn't a bad showing, lots of the poems people here have written deserved to be in the money.

By the way, I know many of you have won before, so maybe you can tell me, do they contact you to let you know you've won? I only learned about it here, from John. It seems odd that Lucy did not drop me an email.

Congrats, Bob, Susan, Chris. Good show!

Bob, I'm glad she chose "das Wasser ist" --although I was disappointed that the jewel in the crown, "Bras-r-us," was overlooked --- not just because I co-wrote it but because I seem to recall saying something about eating my safari hat if it wasn't chosen. CHOMP CHOMP CHOMP

I'm wondering if someone could post a link to the winning poems. I can't seem to find it. Thanks. And congrats to Bob, Susan, and Chris.

Roger, the first time they contact you is with the cheque, which can take rather a long time. Lucy does not send you an email. I conceive it is another arm of the vast Speccie empire that sends out the cheques. If they haven't got off their collective arse in a month drop her a line. When you HAVE the cheque send it to me. I wil send you back some dollars. Otherwise, Spherians have found, the cost of changing the cheque is about as much as its value. Don't forget to endorse the cheque on the back with your signature.

Thanks, John. I don't recall ever having given them my address, though. Thanks so much for the money-changing offer, but I sent Lucy the address of the National Autistic Society in London and told her to send the check directly to them. I just seemed easier that way.

Ah Roger. You should have done that at the foot of the poem. Email Lucy at once with the address. Otherwise - no dosh!

Dosh! Thanks for the new word.

As I said, I emailed her the address where I want the check to go. In future submissions, I will include my address. Thanks!
