Default Helen Schaible Sonnet Contest

I'm delighted to announce that a sonnet of mine has won First Place in the Traditional Sonnet category of the 2022 Helen Schaible International Sonnet Contest, sponsored by Chicagoland Poets & Patrons.

Double congrats, Martin -- on this win and on yesterday's Autumn Sky poem.

Thanks for the info, Chris. I just noticed that Autumn Sky Poetry Daily has been de-listed from Duotrope because it does not inform and ask permission from submitters before publishing their work. I find it very annoying and disruptive to my record-keeping to have journals suddenly disappear like this.

Thanks Brian, Chris, and Susan. And Thanks Chris for mentioning Autumn Sky.

I like Christine, the editor of Autumn Sky. And I'm grateful for all the poems of mine she's printed. It's a really nice journal and one of my favorites.
