Uploading images - would a how-to guide be helpful
Hello!
I've noticed that there are lots of interesting images floating around and that sometimes they are a bit 'missable', particularly when attached to posts.
I also know the trickiness of posting images to php boards (which this is). It's very easy to post a ginormous image, for instance.
So, I wondered if a how-to guide might be useful. A video talk through of some sort that showed people how to resize the image, where they might host the image, and how to embed the image as a link in a thread. I could make one of those quite easily, if people felt it would be useful.
Anyway, if you think it would be useful as a knowledge-share, please let me know and I'll make one. Or if you have objections to this, please let me know and I'll not make one.

A good and helpful idea. Thanks for thinking of it.

Okies, that's enough yays for me to think worthwhile.
I finish at 2.30 today so will do something this afternoon. It'll be out of date technologically within milliseconds, but hey, that's life.
(You may or may not get me captured for posterity narrating in full antlered dress-up as I'm wrangling another online thing this afternoon. Or I might be able to do the screencast without embedding myself as I think there must be an 'off' switch for that!)

That's great, Sarah-Jane. I hope this will be an enjoyable task for you and I wouldn't mind viewing the dress-up. Today I've made myself a toga, but this should not be shared online. 'I am wearing my all-weather cape, as usual' :>)
We appear to be losing our 'sphere filter, Word-Bird. We'd better get back to our serious work now. 'Okies' ;>)

Just sneaked it in whilst in full-on teacher mode & before the antlers (which is good, it's too warm for anything, including strange hats).
Hope this is helpful. If not, no harm is done. I can't promise I'll be around to answer questions/queries if there are any but I'll try, and good luck!
Video-talk-through
Short presentation because sometimes words are easier. The presentation has links in it.

Lol as my favourite word today has clearly moved from bucolic to 'hot foot'. It must be the weather.
