Ancient Exchanges
In a new issue of Ancient Exchanges, an online journal of translation from ancient languages, my translation of Martial's epigram 2.90 appears along with a translation by J. Tristan Barnes of the same epigram. In our translators' notes, we each give some information about why we have translated the poem as we have.

Susan, not only do I think your version is tighter, better, and truer to the original, but I'm very glad to have found this venue, thanks to this thread. Good work.
