Man In the Moon
Overlooked, he wrote tens, maybe hundreds of thousands of pages of his thoughts and misplaced/lost every one of them. None of it has been found but they are there in the aether somewhere if someone has the time and inclination to look for them. That would only be the beginning. There would be the torturous slog through the meaningless things he bothered to note. Some would show promise, but he was notorious for that: promises. He bristled when someone said he always broke his promises. He said he was always trying to keep them. This makes note of that.

Norm Snead, Loser
To his detriment, he was an inveterate tinkerer. His sixteen year career was less than successful and he became known to be a loser, though he was well-liked by some children. He was not without honors, but that is not what he was about. He honed losing. A drop-back passer, he took more hits than most quarterbacks. The defense feasted on him. He just got up and tried again. He had a memorable last game. His final failure came unannounced at his home in Naples Florida. His wife declined to disclose the cause. He will be missed by some children.
