Poetry Readings in Galway or Dublin?
Hey Everyone,
Does anyone here no anything about any regular reading series in Galway or Dublin with open mics? We're going to Ireland in July and I thought it would be fun to attend a reading of local poets and read at an open mic.

Some years back Quincy Lehr was very much involved with the Irish poetry scene, spent time there, knew the players. I don't know if he's still involved, but it might be worth PM-ing him.

In Galway, Over the Edge is pretty hegemonic. You might contact Kevin Higgins (who's all over the interwebs) and see what's going on. Per Dublin, I am thoroughly out of the loop.

As regards Dublin, you could contact Stephen James Smith (info@stephenjamessmith.com) and say I sent you.
