Default Book Award Deadline Close, and Other Updates from Able Muse Press

Dear Eratosphereans:

With about one week to go to the deadline of the Able Muse Book Award (poetry manuscripts), it's time to sound the last call (nearly) for submission --

Book Award Deadline near at hand:

Able Muse Book Award (poetry): If you haven't already done so, the entry deadline is fast approaching (March 31, 2011). Check all the details here.

New Author Books (to be released within weeks!) and Websites:

You may now reserve your copy or copies of the new books scheduled for a Spring/Summer release this year (actually, in a few weeks from now!):
  1. Lines of Flight - poems by Catherine Chandler
  2. Nevertheless - poems by Wendy Videlock

  3. Also available:

Grasshopper: The Poetry of M A Griffiths, first printed in the UK by Arrowhead Press, will be reprinted and distributed in the US and Canada by Able Muse Press, and will be available in a few weeks from now. For UK and elsewhere, order from Arrowhead Press.

You're all invited to stop by Cathy and Wendy's brand new author websites (www.catherine-chandler.com and www.wendyvidelock.com respectively), and sign up where indicated to reserve your copy of their forthcoming books, and be one of the first to receive news and other details of the releases.

First Books Panel West Chester Poetry Conference, 2011:

For further good news, Cathy's and Wendy's books have been been accepted for the conference's First Books Panel . For those attending the conference, plan to stop by! And yes, the books will be out long before West Chester. Maz's book, Grasshopper, will also feature on the panel, to be represented by Eratosphere's very own Michael Cantor.

The Able Muse Anthology & Able Muse Press Panel at West Chester, 2011:

And this is exciting news! Details will follow as they become available. Meanwhile, if you haven't already done so, be sure to get your copy of the Able Muse Anthology, and the Able Muse Review, Inaugural Print Edition now, and certainly before the event.
- Appearing soon on Ted Kooser's Amerian Life in Poetry column, April Lindner's poem "Our Lady of Perpetual Help" from the Anthology.
- Appearing soon on Ted Kooser's Amerian Life in Poetry, Catherine Tufariello's poem "The Cricket in the Sump" from the Inaugural Print Edition.

Check these and other details at Able Muse - http://www.ablemuse.com

Cheers,
...Alex
