Liam Neeson is also in KRULL, above. Just sayin'.

Harrison Ford only got cast in Raiders because after Tom Selleck won the role, CBS wouldn't let him do both that and Magnum, P.I. Seems to have worked out for both actors, though.

I love your dogged persistence in bringing Krull into the conversation, Julie.

I really like Duel. Many years ago I happened to catch it on tv, but I tuned in a few minutes after it started so I had no idea it was a Spielberg movie. It was pretty late at night, and I hadn't planned to stay up much longer, but I couldn't stop watching till the end. I haven't seen it since, but I still think it may be my favorite Spielberg movie.

I don't know what the Krull thing is about, Julie, hahaha. I never saw it-- heard of it, but, growing up, it never occupied our closet of taped movies. Certainly we can forgive some actors for lapses, especially when they're likely struggling. Or just make an umbrella Nicolas Cage rule. I have much more of a problem with the Taken franchise. Or anything being called a franchise. I'm going to start a social media rumor (start a fact) that covid came from Hollywood franchises. Let's see if it has legs.

*On a brighter note, I am happy that the movie channels here have been playing Birdman and The Prestige. The Prestige is a best picture, but the director got in the way. Imo.
