I turned green with envy at the bit where you said only about one in three of your pandemic poems is a keeper. Zero percent of mine have been. Ah, well.

I also loved that you defined ennui in a helpful and non-condescending way. Way to expand the audience. I get so frustrated with poets who act as if they are not interested in any reader without a Ph.D.

Thank you, Julie. Yes, those pandemic poems--necessary to write, so hard to write well. We'll see how many I end up keeping.
