Hi Matt,

Apologies if my suggested changes sounded random. I usually don't have time to explain lots when I get the chance to post here. Unless I state a specific reason for certain changes, the changes are usually to do with rhythm, unnecessary detail or pace/structure. Sometimes, a suggested word choice just goes a different flavour or sounds more original.

I guess I feel an author might know by instinct whether or not he/she likes the change or not even without knowing the reason for the suggestion, but that might not always be the case for everyone. I'll try to make the reasons clearer in future.
