Accepting submissions for future issues...
Thanks for the shout-out, Mike! And huge thanks again to all you talented Spherians/Sphereans. (I'm never sure how to spell that.) Light accepts submissions year-round, so to those who haven't sent anything our way lately, please do! Next issue will--with luck--come out by the end of July. Our submission guidelines are here: http://lightpoetrymagazine.com/revamp/submit/

Great cover photo, too.

Did you miss Anna Evans, Michael? (or am I reading too fast ... )
With a hysterical poem from her "courtesans" series.
Way to go, girl!
Great issue (and great cover photo, too).
Congratulations to all.

It's a great poem, Wendy - one of my favorites in the mag - and, believe me, I will do whatever I can to ingratiate myself with editors - but as far as I can see Anna isn't a Sphere member.

(Psst, Michael. Anna's logged in right now. Check the bottom of the board.)(Or was, ten minutes ago: Anna M Evans, with no period.)
Again, congratulations to all!

Just wanted to add - if you haven't done this already - please recommend Light to all your friends, & have them click the "like" button when they read it. I think light verse should be at least as popular as Boo the Pomeranian or Simon's Cat.

If I ever write a book, I might ask Alfred Nicol if I can borrow these lines from "Bad Head Day" for an epigraph --
Poetaster spitting up inanities,
Or making perfect mermaids out of manatees;
An awful lot of nothing in the aggregate;
Paralegal for the devil’s advocate.
Even leaving Anthony Harrington aside, there's a baker's dozen of other poems I could single out: a real pleasure, going through this issue
Best,
Ed

Maryann - Thanks. I checked for Anna Evans, not Anna M. Evans. and since our Membership List is alphabetized from the first name, I was several pages away. Have added Anna.
