My New Book Just Published!
Hi All,
For those interested, my new book, Beast in the Apartment (Sheep Meadow, 2014) is now available from whatever your favorite distributor might be, Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Powells or somewhere else. Hopefully it will find its way into some brick and mortar shops as well!
The book was conceived of as my attempt to branch out into longer forms, alexandrines, blank verse, terza rima, and so on, but there is a peppering of free verse and, as is usual with me, there are many sonnets. It's a hard habit to kick.
I've had a few reviews come out, one here http://www.nyjournalofbooks.com/book...tony-barnstone and one here http://tearsinthefence.com/2014/01/2...the-apartment/
Here's a link to the book at Amazon: www.amazon.com/Beast-Apartment-Tony-Barnstone/dp/1937679349
Thanks!
Tony

Nice LONG reviews, particularly the one from Mr Caddy in Tears in the Fence, a nagazine I discovered last week. Good for you.

I really admire that you still want to branch out, though you are a veritable spreading oak. I hope you sell many, many, many copies.

Thank you, Janice! I was digging around for a jokey reply, something about Dutch Elms and bark being worse than the blight, but in the end decided to spare you. No joke: I appreciate the good words!

Thanks for posting this. I'll add my name to what hopefully will be a nearly interminable list of buyers. And fans.
