Default April 5 protests

For Americans interested in joining peaceful protests on April 5, this website has info (as well as training for de-escalating conflicts with counter-protestors):

I hope it all goes well and stays peaceful.

I'll be with you in spirit! Good luck.

I can't help wondering how many of the peaceful protesters Trump will deport or "disappear".

He's far more likely to go on social media and deputize his followers to harass and terrorize the April 5 protesters, and maybe even issue a blanket pardon to them in advance.

Well, you can't issue a pardon in advance. They'll just have to settle for his promise to issue one after the fact.

I attended the “Hands Off” March in Anchorage, Alaska and also did not see any counterprotesters (unless you count a few motorists who flipped us the bird). Most motorists honked in support, and well over 1,000 (I would have estimated about 2,000) people showed up. Considering the “Drill, Baby, drill!” deeply Republican mindset that dominates Anchorage’s politics, I was very pleasantly surprised.

Also no counterprotests in Mineola, NY, where over 2,000 attended despite the rain. Here are some pictures I took.

Hats off to all of you (and thanks for the photos, Bob).
It's such a relief to know there were no major incidents!
