Shacklee in Innisfree
Friends--
The current Innisfree Poetry Journal is privileged to feature the excellent work of our own Ed Shacklee:
http://authormark.com/artman2/publis...SHACKLEE.shtml
Two exceptionally incisive poems.
Apologies if I've failed to recognize other Sphereans in this issue.

Great work, Ed, and in good company. I especially love "Recipe for Grand Theft Auto." Thanks for posting, Jean. I'll be interested to read Matthew Buckley Smith's piece as well.

Thanks, Jean and Maryann: I hadn't known the latest Innisfree was up till I saw this post. The 'Auto' was seriously overhauled at the Sphere, from the title to the last line. My thanks.
Best,
Ed

It is a terrific venue and just the place to have your terrific poems, Ed.
I'm sure this won't be the last time you'll be arising and going to Innisfree.
PS. I am glad to esp. to see the recipe published.

Agent,
I got word about the latest Innisfree, and had to come on here to tell you not only how pleased I am that these poems are loose in the world now, but seriously, how seriously good they are.
Both poems are powerful and true, and superbly made.
Excellent, Agent!

Congratulations, Ed! Well-deserved as always. I remember the recipe poem too, but I must have missed the stalking horse. Glad to have caught it this time.

re gta: i love your use of "police" as a verb here. so much wide ranging and terrifying than just having the police doing something.
