Times solicited similar “variations” in 2019 and 2023, so you can look up the sort of lyrical commentary they go for.)
Once again we invite readers to have a little fun by expressing their opinions in forms other than conventional letters to the editor. Take a popular song, poem or other kind of text (from Shakespeare to Seuss), and rewrite the words in response to something or someone in the news — or write a song or poem from scratch.
