Default Rondeau by Julia Griffin about election results

I am amazed by the speed with which Julia was able to write this accomplished rondeau.

Wow indeed.

She also has an ingenious trio about travels with her mother in November's Snakeskin

...And here I sat, gloomy in the blaring morning after, looking for words, when this poem appeared, piercing my psyche.

Thanks for sharing.

Joe, the poet in Snakeskin is Julie Steiner, not Julia Griffin. But thanks for pointing out her poems, which are excellent, as usual.

Politics and poetry don’t mix well for me, but I needed this dose today. Thanks to poet and poster.

Alas, I didn't write Julia Griffin's spot-on rondeau. I wish I had. I'll gratefully take the other compliments, though. Thanks very much, Joe and Susan.

Damn, I didn't know you could make Rondeaux relevant anymore. Nice.
