Congratulations to you, Ned Balbo, Julie Steiner, and anyone else I might not have recognized from the ‘Sphere.

I remember that you workshopped “Easy Lai” a few weeks ago. Very clever!

Ned’s sonnet observes amphibian reproduction with the precision of a field biologist, although his epigraph suggests that he may have had a human behavior in mind.

Julie’s two poems deal with travel. They are engaging, thoughtful, great-hearted exercises in self-spoofery and self-insight.

I’m honored to be occasionally edified by your talents, all.
