Freelance Writing

I've recently taken up freelance writing in order to generate a bit of cash. Usually I do it for sites that want articles on things like brown rugs or recipe ideas, but I've been using Associated Content for a few things I've come up with on my own of late. They don't pay much upfront (unlike the other sites) and you only get like an eighth of a cent per click, but at least you get to keep your name on the thing. About my poem Tanabata

Ah, I really hate to do this sort of thing, but I'll swallow my pride and do it. If anyone has any thoughts about the poem I posted in the Deep End forum called Tanabata, I'd be really interested to hear them. Stephen seemed to think it was a failed experiment, and for all I know it might be, but I'd like to get a few more opinions before I scrap it. Especially since I am quite fond of it myself, since, as Stephen pointed out, it was inspired by my other major interest, Japanese comics or manga....
