Dear Eratosphereans,

I'd hoped that a reminder will no longer be necessary -- between the more visible sponsor/support icon on the right hand panel of most Eratosphere pages, and the sticky posts to that effect in this forum and the other conversation forums. But it hasn't worked out that way . . . yet.

Anyhow, support remains voluntary as before. Thanks to the few were able to respond and assist! To keep this as brief as possible, I won't rehash all the reasons already...

Sorry, I haven’t been participating in these discussions due to too many distractions (but what’s new!).

I’m glad there are already good accounts of events from Cathy and Bill. It was wonderful meeting them in there person. And there was a long list of other Eratosphereans I met at West Chester beside Cathy and Bill, including Micheal Cantor (he’s very charming, I’ll have you know), Peter Coghill (what a tall guy!), Allen Tice, Jennifer Reeser, Gregory Dowling, Susan MacLean, Anna...

I notice Anna mentioned on her blog that she was glad she chose to stay at the Day`s Inn instead of the dorms, and I, too, had been forewarned.

HOWEVER, now conference participants stay in UNIVERSITY HALL, one of the beautiful new dorms with air-conditioned suites.

My room was on the 7th floor, and each person had her own room and bathroom. The room was very clean and well-lit. We also had a common sitting room for both of us. The dorms are secure, and we all had our...
